Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu training in Corvallis Oregon

About The Dojo: Corvallis Bujinkan Dojo is located in Corvallis Oregon. The head Instructor Is Dennis King who is currently a 8th Degree in Budo Taijutsu (Ninjustu). Mr King stays current with the themes by going to Japan yearly, and by continuing his training under Mark Vandehey. Mr Vandehey takes at least one trip per year to Japan to train with the 34th Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi.

About The Training: Bujinkan Budo Taijustsu or “Ninjutsu” is one of the oldest and most effective martial arts in the world. It uses all forms of weapons from the ancient weapons of the ninja like shuriken or hand claws to modern weapons such as firearms.

Is this right for me?: If you are looking for a martial art to compete in, such as Tai Kwon Do or Karate, then this might not be the martial art for you. Competing in a sport art is an extremely fun and exciting hobby but its not what Ninjutsu is all about. In Ninjutsu you would learn techniques and a skill that would not be safe to use in competition. Ninjutsu is excellent training for both men and women of all ages. Although currently the Corvallis Bujinkan Dojo is only able to offer training for adults ages 16 and up.

Prices: Classes are 60 dollars a month or 10 dollars per class. Classes go from 6:30 – 8:30 Tuesday and Wednesday evenings excluding holidays. There will be opportunities to attend seminars through the year hosted by the Dojo. Seminar prices vary but range from $45 – $100 dollars for a weekend. Your participation is completely optional but they are always great training!
